RECEPTION AND FRONT OF HOUSE- Teaching your apprentice the important duties required for front of house cannot be underestimated. The receptionist is usually the first person to meet clients, so you need them to give the right impression of your business.
POSITIVE IMPRESSIONS- lead to loyalty, so apprentices are taught the importance of client and colleague communication and professional behaviour to retain important custom.
TEAMWORK- Exceed takes team work very seriously. Apprentices need to know they are an integral part of the team and each member has their own value. They need to know their duties in relation to helping stylists and how their general demeanour can affect team dynamics.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE- We teach apprentices how to recommend suitable products, display them and use them economically to ensure you maximise your earning potential.
OBTAINING MODELS AND CLIENTS- At Exceed, we teach apprentices how to promote themselves and obtain models for hairdressing services to ensure progression is made, confidence is built, and clientele is secured for when they go on to the shop floor.
Government grants may also be available. Terms and conditions apply. See www.apprenticeships.gov.uk for more information on apprenticeships.
